Harbury RFC suffer another heavy defeat

Harbury had to shuffle their ranks with long-term injuries, unavailabilities and a number at the Rugby World Cup games but it was a credit to the spirit within the club that they managed to assemble a squad of 20 players, led by skipper Gaz Evans.

The pack was a reasonably strong unit but Evesham’s strength was in their threequarters and their slick play proved Harbury’s undoing.

Harbury refused to be daunted and they will hope the return to a number of players wil help build on their sense of togetherness. They are also keen to recruit players between the ages of 17 and 45.
