Gavin Hurren is Bard's boss after Dean Holdsworth quits Stratford Town

DEAN Holdsworth is backing right-hand man Gavin Hurren to carry on the good work after having to quit as Stratford Town boss.

Former Premier League striker Holdsworth told the Herald he has had to step down as head coach because of growing business commitments which meant he would be unable to commit the time to the club.

The Bards always knew the former Bolton and Wimbledon forward and former Newport County and Aldershot Town boss would have to juggle overseas work commitments but Holdworth says a burgeoning diary with work in Gibraltar and the Middle East will take up all his time in the next few months.
