FC STRATFORD manager Dave Poulson has announced he will stand down at the end of this season.

Poulson, in his second season with the Midland League Division Three club, has decided he cannot give the time needed to continue as manager.

“After much consideration I have decided that I will be standing down as manager of FC Stratford at the end of this season." said the former Alcester Town boss.

“The main reason for this is that I have recently started my own business and have been unable to dedicate the time the players deserve.

“I will now give everything until the end of the season to try and get us promoted in what will be a very tough run-in.”

The tough run-in begins on Wednesday night when they welcome local rivals Alcester Town to the MoodChimp Stadium for a league fixture.
