Cotswold Cup glory for Ragley boys

ALCESTER & Ragley under-13s' cricket team are celebrating after claiming Cotswold Cup glory at Evesham Sports Centre.

Will Frecke (4-9) starred with the ball as Ragley claimed a 24-run victory.

Rowan Magnall and Bertie Sainsbury Plaice also chipped in, taking two and one wicket respectively as Bredon were restricted to 253.

Ragley rattled up 277-3 with the bulk of of the runs coming from Harvey Taylor (17), Rowan Magnall (12) and Dan Lee (11).

“It was a great team effort and I’m proud of them all,” said Harry Dyke, who sponsors the team.

“It has been a phenomenal year for the club and I cannot wait for next year.”
