Sponsored by Peter Clarke Estate Agents, the event is held to raise funds for local businesses and community organisations.

This year the Lifespace Trust, a mentoring service for young people based in Tyler Street, were the beneficiaries. At the end of the evening, club chairman Peter Jones handed over the £750 cheque to Andrea Hardy, of Lifespace Trust.

Twelve rinks started the evening, including teams from Arden Garages, Specsavers, Rohan and 2019 winners NFU Mutual. The Sports Club were strongly represented and made it through to the final to face NFU.

A close game saw NFU, represented by Jo Burton, Juliet Careless, Richard Hale and Richard Anthony, prevail once again.

Meanwhile, Avon's bowls programme for the week was cancelled due to the amber weather warning of soaring temperatures.
