Stratford Town sign Solihull Moors midfielder Melis Bushaj on short-term loan
MIDFIELDER Melis Bushaj has joined Stratford Town a short-term loan deal from National League outfit Solihull Moors.
The former Moors U19 captain will stay at the Arden Garages Stadium until 7th February and is available for selection ahead of Stratford’s visit to Redditch United on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Bards boss Tim Flowers said of his new signing: “Melis is left-footed and will provide that balance in the midfield three, but can also play left-back so he can cover there as well.
“He’s 6ft 2ins, aggressive and previously spent half a year in this league with Stourbridge. I know Melis well and he’s a good lad with great character.”
While Flowers continues to find a striker, he’s looking to add to the squad generally.
“We’ve got a few on trial but I’m not going to bring people in that are the same, they have to better than what we’ve got,” he added.
After Saturday, the Bards visit Stourbridge on Monday (7.45pm kick-off).
