Athletes of all ages compete in Stratford AC Club Championship

MORE than 200 athletes ranging from ages eight to 80 competed in the Stratford AC Club Championship.

The results of the full day's programme of events will be announced prior to the presentation of medals and trophies at the club's awards ceremony in October.

Club secretary Cllr Tony Jackson led the athletes and spectators in a poignant and respectful one minute's silence in memory of the Queen at the aptly named Jubilee Track at Stratford School.
