Alfie Bloomer had put the Bees ahead in the 38th minute, but Saracens hit back 14 minutes from time through Luke Finch’s stunning strike.

Studley went in search of a winner and five minutes later they got exactly that when Dan Carter set up Mark Magee to fire into the bottom corner.

The Bees finished the season with 74 points, winning 24 of their 32 league games.

Bloomer finished as the club's top scorer with 16 goals in 29 outings, with Sean Brain in a close second with 15 from 21. Carter was third-top scorer with 13 in 34.
