Bards boss says players will fear no-one

STRATFORD Town kick-off the new Southern League Premier Central season on Saturday at home to Leiston with manager Gavin Hurren saying his players will fear no-one.

The team missed out on the play-offs in May on goal difference and the Bards boss said his side will be looking to improve on that this time after making key signings over the summer to supplement the squad.

Two goals from Dan Lafferty and one from Callum Ebanks saw Town complete their preparations for the new campaign with a 3-3 draw against a PFA XI on Tuesday and Hurren believes the ten-game pre-season has benefitted the team.
