Bards boss delighted with new signing

IT has been a case of one in, one out at Stratford Town with the club also announcing that experienced defender Lee Vaughan has taken over as assistant manager.

Former Cheltenham Town defender Dylan Barkers has linked up with the Bards and will bolster the midfield with playmaker Jonny Ngandu leaving to join National League North side Darlington.

Manager Gavin Hurren said: “Dylan is a very good footballer. He’s a good size and has played at a good level. He has fitted in really quickly at the club and it helps that he already knows some of the players.
