ALCESTER Town have continued their rebuilding under new bosses Matt Seeley and Richard Briggs by confirming two new signings.

The Red and Blacks have snapped up midfielder Luke Williams from Earlswood Town and fellow forward Billy Fagg from Paget Rangers.

Both come into contention for Saturday’s Birmingham Vase tie at home to league rivals Coventrians.

Seeley and Briggs have already drafted in half-a-dozen players as they look to shape their own squad after taking over from Perry McLeod.

Meanwhile, Alcester will see Saturday’s tie as the chance to put right the disappointment of last week’s Midland League Division Three defeat to Inkberrow and that means making the most of the opportunities

“We dominated the game for 90 minutes against Inkberrow but we gave away two horrendous goals,” said Seeley. “We want to put it right on Saturday.”

Earlswood Town are also in county vase action when they entertain Coventry Alliance side AEI Rugby.
