NEW Alcester Town manager Perry Macleod has begun shaping his squad by recruiting three players.

Macleod, who took over from Danny Janes last month, has recruited former Bromsgrove Sporting midfielder Luke Dugmore plus ex-Alvechurch youngsters Danny Moy and Bradley Carter.

Dugmore, who played the bulk of last season with Studley, helped Sporting push for the Midland League Premier Division title after joining from the Bees in March.

Goalkeeper Carter is regarded as one of the best young keepers in the area after playing for Alvechurch’s youth and reserves.

Moy had been top scorer in Alvechurch’s youth team before pushing for first team football.

Pre-season training begins on Saturday, 30th June.
