ALCESTER head coach Keith Beech and his assistant Brett Allard have announced they will step down from their roles at the end of this season.

Beech has been a coach at the club for more than ten years, including six years looking after the senior sides, which have seen two promotions under his guidance.

Alcester are now playing at their highest ever level of rugby in Midlands 3 West (South) and much of that success is down to the coaching duo.

“I’m sure I can speak on behalf of everyone involved when I say that Keith will be an extremely hard act to follow,” said Alcester chairman, Andy Flynn.

“There has been a level of commitment from him every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday above that we have seen from a head coach before and the fact we are playing at the highest ever level of league rugby and a new brand of fast-flowing rugby is no coincidence.”

The club are now on the hunt for a senior coach or coaching team. Anyone interested in the roles should contact Andy on 07923 436184 or andy.flynn@rocketmail.com. Alternatively, you can contact the club via their website pitchero.com/clubs/alcesterrfc
