Alcester boss Janes delighted with clean sheet

ALCESTER Town continued their Midland League Division Three promotion push with a hard-fought 3-0 victory over CT Shush on Saturday.

Mat Fearon, Ellis Kalach and Wil Beach were all on target as Danny Janes' side followed up their emphatic 7-2 victory over Birmingham Tigers with another impressive performance.

“Three points, three goals and a clean sheet must be recognised as a great day at any level of football," said a delighted Janes.

"At 1-0, CT Shush were always in the game, but I felt we looked calm and relaxed, we didn’t panic and controlled the game.

"Once we got the second they had to come at us, which left gaps for us to exploit. I am very happy with the result and the manner in which we went about things.”
