Adams: Town must learn how to hold a lead
Adams’ side were two goals up at Biggleswade before going down 4-3, while they conceded a late equaliser in last Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with King’s Lynn.
It was more of the same on Saturday, Town going ahead through Mark Mageee before Paulton rallied to take all three points.
“That’s another one that has got away from us,” said a frustrated Adams.
“We took the lead with a great goal from Mark Magee, but having worked so hard to get in front we then let them back into the game straight away.
“Their second goal came about from Anthony Charles slipping in the mud, but the lad took it well and we never really looked like pulling it back from then on.
“We have to show better game management and learn how to see a game out when we are in front.”
Town return to the DCS on Tuesday night to take on Merthyr Town (7.45pm).
