Adams takes first place as Stratford youngsters shine

ALEX Adams won his age group race and Georgie Campbell and Tessa Parkin finished second in their events as Stratford AC youngsters again impressed in the West Midlands Junior Cross Country League.

Racing on a relatively flat course at Perry Park in Birmingham, the team overall finished third out of 20 clubs and strengthened their position in third in the series.

More than 60 juniors athletes from Stratford participated in the races, ranging from under-17s to under-11s.

The next round will take place on 13th January at Abington Park, Northampton.
