Adams blames 'criminal' defending for Biggleswade defeat
Town looked to have salvaged a point when substitute Dior Angus equalised four minutes from time.
But Stratford were caught napping at the back and Biggleswade striker Inih Effiong netted a 90th-minute winner to leave Adams fuming.
“Some of our defending today was criminal,” he said.
"If you score three times away from home you should take something from the game but we didn’t and we didn’t deserve to.
“The goal they scored just before half time was the killer as it changed the whole impetus of the game, but we should have been able to cope with that.
“We came here on the back of two clean sheets and to concede goals in the manner we did was not what I expected.”
Town return to the DCS on Tuesday for a home game against King’s Lynn Town ahead of this weekend’s trip to struggling Paulton.
