WIN tickets to West Midland Safari Park
WEST Midland Safari Park is getting ready to host its annual Easter Eggstravaganza and this year, the park has a whole month of Easter fun in store - and you could enjoy a day out if you are one of our prize-winners this week.
From 19th March to 17th April 2016, visitors will be able to take part in a host of activities, suitable for the whole family, all included in the standard admission price.
More than 50 giant decorated eggs, some sporting images of animals and dinosaurs, will be spread out in a trail across the walk-through areas of the park.
Children will be encouraged to follow the trail and crack a special Easter password to win a chocolate treat.
The Discovery Room will be open daily, hosting an Eggsplorer’s Craft Club, where children and adults can take part in hands-on Easter-inspired crafts and activities and get up close and personal with some creepy crawlies.
The Easter Eggstravaganza also includes specially themed animal encounters and shows and there will be competitions in which visitors can win an iPad Air or iPad Mini. Additional to all of the Easter activities, are the park’s usual attractions, including an encounter with the park’s newest addition — a gigantic spinosaurus.
This dinosaur reaches a huge length of almost 50 feet, making it one of the longest and largest dinosaurs in the Land of the Living Dinosaurs Exhibit.
Like its new companions, the spinosaurus is animatronic, with moving eyes, mouth, neck, arms and tail.
It brings the total number of life-size, moving and breathing dinosaurs to 40. Easter Eggstravaganza is included in the standard admission cost which also includes a free-return ticket.
The park has teamed up with the Herald to offer three family passes as prizes. To enter, see page 10 of this week's paper.
