SELF-STYLED ‘mad fool’ Stuart Kettell is planning a daunting mission from John O’Groats to Land’s End — in a bath tub!, writes Tom Hitchenor.

Stuart is no stranger to wacky challenges, having previously pushed a Brussel sprout up Mount Snowdon using his nose, completed seven marathons in seven days in a giant hamster wheel, and popped 10,000 balloons on a giant pogo stick.

But this could be his most challenging yet because Stuart, who lives in Hatton, has recently recovered from major heart surgery in October last year.

The pedal-powered bath tub has been undergoing trial runs as he prepares to begin the ride on 16th September. It is expected to take two weeks.

There will be a tracker on board to follow his progress on his website, www.willthemadfoolmakeit.co.uk

This will be the 11th challenge that Stuart has completed, raising over £50,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

His target this year is £5,000, to donate CLICK HERE
