THERE'S a week to go for the people of Stratford-upon-Avon to have their say on the proposed big wheel on the town's Recreation Ground.

Over 120 comments have been posted on Stratford District Council's website with the vast majority of people opposed to the temporary structure which would be located close to Stratford Boat Club in Swan's Nest Lane.

Various objections have been raised from invasion of privacy, conservation, heritage concerns and wildlife welfare.

The deadline for public consultation is Friday 22nd April and the planning application reference number is 16/00562/FUL.

Latest update in this week's Herald.
