Warwickshire Police at scene of two-car collision between Stratford and Wellesbourne

THE road between Stratford and Wellesbourne was closed this morning (Wednesday) following a two-car collision.

Warwickshire Police were at the scene of the incident, which happened at around 8.45am on the B4086 near Charlcote.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended to find three people present, two of which were described as walking wounded.

“One vehicle was in the ditch and another was partially in the ditch.

“The road was cleared of debris and both vehicles had been recovered by around 11am.”
