Volunteers needed to help Shakespeare Birthplace Trust
The charity is reinventing Shakespeare’s New Place, the ground where he had his family home for 19 years through the prime of his life. It is creating a major new heritage landmark as a permanent celebration of the playwright’s influence for future generations.
The reopening of Shakespeare’s New Place in July 2016 will be a key highlight of the worldwide celebrations of the playwright’s 400 year legacy throughout 2016.
To help bring Shakespeare’s New Place to life, the Trust is looking for volunteers to play a major part in Shakespearian history.
Anyone who wants to discover more about volunteering with the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust can take advantage of a Volunteer Open Day initiative which runs from 14th – 16th January from 11am to 2pm at Hall’s Croft Café, Old Town, Stratford.
Some of the exciting volunteering opportunities available at Shakespeare’s New Place include; visitor welcome assistants, guides, gardeners, retail assistants and activity hosts. These roles come with great perks, like travel expenses, free entrance to the Shakespeare houses, and discounts at our cafés, shops and other retailers around Stratford.
