Volunteer event at Stratford's historic Guildhall
Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall on the hunt for new volunteers with two special events planned next month.
The volunteer events are being held on 10 and 11 of October and will provide people with information about the various roles available, whilst current volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions.
Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall project lead, Lincoln Clarke, said: “From the very start, volunteers have been pivotal to Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall, playing a core role in creating an immersive and welcoming visitor experience.
“It’s incredibly important to us that volunteers get as much out of working here as we gain from them giving up their time.
“These volunteer open sessions are a great opportunity for us to tell them about the Schoolroom, but also for us to find out more about them as individuals and what they want to get out of their time volunteering with us.”
The volunteer open sessions will take place on Monday 10 October and Tuesday 11 October between 5.30pm and 7.30pm at Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall on Church Street.
Each evening at 6pm there will be a talk providing details about the roles available.
