Video - Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi talks about his departure during visit to camel farm

AFTER revealing on Thursday that he would not be standing as a candidate at the next general election, Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi was out in the constituency today (Friday)… getting the hump.

But that wasn’t from Conservative supporters, upset by his decision to leave the role he has held since 2012, it was just one of the magnificent animals at Joseph’s Amazing Camels at Idlicote where the former chancellor was visiting.

Herald photographer Mark Williamson caught up with him at the farm. Here’s a short video of what he had to say about his departure.

The Herald will have a full interview with Mr Zahawi available next week.
