VIDEO: Aerial footage reveals extent of flooding

THIS aerial video was filmed on Thursday afternoon and shows the full extent of the flooding that unexpectedly hit Stratford-upon-Avon this week.

Simon Blinkhorne, from Stratford, filmed the footage using a quadcopter.

It shows how the boat club, cricket club, bowls club and much of the Rec and the children's play area is under several metres of water

Warnings remain in place on the River Avon and other rivers throughout south Warwickshire.

Simon told the Herald: "I was told by a colleague about the cricket pitch flooding so I popped down and flew from there in my lunch break.

"When I got up there, I realised the extent of the flooding and filmed a bit further afield."
