UPDATE / VIDEO: Police report alleged sexual assault on the scene of Birmingham Road incident

POLICE have cordoned off an area of land near Birmingham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, close to the Maybird Centre as part of an investigation launched after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted in the town last night.
The incident was reported to police at 4.34am today, Thursday, on land near Tesco's store at the Maybird Centre which has since been the focus of police activity.
The investigation is in its early stages and police are working to establish the exact time and location the incident occurred.
Anyone who has any information that could help police with their enquiries should call 101 and quote incident 29 of 19th July 2018.
