UPDATE: Firefighters called to Sherbourne blaze

AS of 5pm Tuesday, fire fighters were still tackling a fire in Sherborne but the situation is under control local residents report.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a large fire in Sherbourne yesterday which destroyed 320 tonnes of hay.

The incident took place at a three bay Dutch barn at Church Farm on Fulbrook Road at around 2pm.

Two fire engines from Leamington were sent to the scene, later joined by one from Stratford and another from Gaydon.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze using ground monitors and hose reel jets.
