Town referendum vote date set

THE ninth neighbourhood plan referendum in Stratford-on-Avon district will take place in September, it has been announced.

Residents of Shipston-on-Stour will vote on Thursday, 6th September, whether or not to accept the plan which will help shape the town's development over the coming years.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm at The Sheldon Bosley Hub Limited on Pittway Avenue, and The Scout Hall on New Street.

The result will be announced later the same evening.

Similar plans have already been adopted following referendums in Bidford-on-Avon, Kineton, Long Compton, Salford Priors, Snitterfield, Welford-on-Avon, Wilmcote, and Wootton Wawen Neighbourhood Plan.
