The final brick of Stratford’s new cancer and eye hospital was laid today during a topping out ceremony on the building’s roof.
Director of development at the South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, Jayne Blacklay, was given the honour of placing the final brick accompanied by chief executive Glen Burley and contractors from builders Speller Metcalfe.
A great deal of the construction at the £22million hospital has already been completed, and much of the scaffolding is expected to come down in the next few weeks.
