Time’s nearly up… Stratford Herald Business and Tourism Award deadline is this week
SPONSORS of the Stratford Herald Business and Tourism Awards met at a networking event last week to hear details about the new approach to the judging process to find this year’s winners.
Held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Thursday (27th July), awards manager Sharron Marriott told the sponsors, including the overall sponsor Stratford District Council, that shortlisted businesses would receive visits and video calls from judges as they delve into the applications.
Andy Veale, Herald editor, said: “We are so grateful to our sponsors for being involved with the awards – the majority for the second year running. Last year’s event was a brilliant showcase for businesses in the area and, as we have seen a large increase in the number of entries for 2023, we expect this year’s event will reveal many more success stories.
“There is still time to enter this year’s awards, but you need to be quick – the deadline is at the end of the week.”
The awards, which are in their second year, close to applications tomorrow (Friday) afternoon.
There are 15 categories, each sponsored by a south Warwickshire business or group, while the overall sponsor is Stratford District Council.
