Three arrested following Alcester disturbance





Three people have been arrested following a disturbance in Alcester last Friday (9th February) during which a man in his 30s suffered a serious head injury.

The incident occurred in St Nicholas Close at around 7.45pm.

The casualty was taken to hospital, though his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

Two men, aged 22 and 21 and a woman, aged 18, all from south Warwickshire, have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, they have been released on police bail, enquiries are ongoing.

Officers have been carrying out additional patrols in the area to provide reassurance to the local community. Anyone who has any information which could help is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident reference 357 of 9 February.
