The Bear Pit – Stratford's little theatre with the big heart

The Bear Pit Theatre is a unique venue at the heart of the Stratford community providing a permanent home to amateur theatre-makers in the district, including the theatre’s own Bear Pit company.
As Covid-19 troubled its finances and future, artistic director David Mears, chairman Simon Allen and finance director David Derrington spoke to Herald arts about what the theatre means to the town.
