FIRE has ripped through farm buildings in Oxhill.

Firefighters were initially called to the farm fire at 1.45pm Monday, 19th March, and were at the scene again Tuesday morning. No one was injured in the fire.

A spokesperson with the fire service said ten appliances responded with no more than six in attendance at one time. Firefighters had left the scene by Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was in an agricultural building and hay fire at the Oxhill farm.

Warwickshrie Fire and Rescue said crews from Alcester, Gaydon, Stratford, Leamington, Shipston and Coleshill were in attendance.

The fire was believed to be accidental and took hold quickly, however crews managed to prevent it from spreading.
