Teenage moped rider injured in Warwickshire by Fiesta driver who fled the scene




A TEENAGER suffered serious leg injuries after his moped was in a collision with a Ford Fiesta which was later found abandoned.

Warwickshire Police said the 17-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident at Long Itchington on Saturday (1st February). It happened at around 10.45pm on the A423 Southam Road, at the junction with Stockton Road.

The blue Fiesta left the scene of the collision and was found abandoned a short time later, police said.

Officers have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage in the area, to get in contact on 101 quoting incident number 375 of 1st February 2025.
