Summer start for work to create hotel on Stratford’s former Debenhams site

THE redevelopment of the former Debenhams site in Stratford is moving forward with work estimated to begin in the summer.

Planning approval was granted in May 2022 for the demolition and redevelopment of the former department store and H&M unit.

The site will be turned into a 142-bedroom Hilton Motto hotel.
