Stratford's new cocktail bar is shaking things up
THE owners of a café-bar raised a glass to mark the venue’s official opening in Stratford.
Café Cocktail, based in the former Music Café unit on the corner of Greenhill Street and Windsor Street, threw open its doors on Saturday.
Mayor of Stratford Cllr Gill Cleeve was on hand to help with the launch which attracted plenty of interest.
Director and shareholder Jill Wall was delighted with how the day went, adding the most popular cocktails were the Jungle Bird and Paloma.
She continued: “It was quite interesting to see a broad spectrum of people turn up on Saturday. As we are a family-run business and not a chain, we try to be individual and it was great to see so much local support.
“The opening day could not have gone any better and it was nice to see some returning faces the next morning sampling some of our speciality coffee.”
Café Cocktail is a family affair as Jill is the mother of proprietor Matthew Hiscoe, whose wife Ginnene is the operations co-ordinator.
