Stratford wins big on the Lottery in 2015

Amongst the organisations in Stratford to benefit were the RSC which received three grants totalling more than £5.3million.

Others to receive funding included a project to build the new Cherington Stourton Sutton-Under-Brailes Village Hall, which cost in excess of £530,000, and Stratford boat club which received £75,000 towards its new boathouse.

In Warwick the Motionhouse, a charity-run dance theatre, was awarded just over £1million to help fund its activities over the next three years while Live and Local, a non-for-profit organisation which puts on professional live performances, received £874,392.

All of these organisations will now be eligible to enter the National Lottery Awards 2016 and be in the running for a £3,000 cash prize.
