NINE staff members from Stratford-upon-Avon School along with two friends and relatives, have signed up to support the Cyclists Fighting Cancer Million Mile Bike Ride Challenge, on Saturday (30th September), writes Jake Jefferies.

They will be undertaking a 100-mile ride through the Cotswold hills, starting at 8am and finishing at 4pm, at Stratford School, in Alcester Road.

Mike Grisenthwaite, a Stratford father of two, set up the charity Cyclists Fighting Cancer, in 2005.

Mike is a double cancer survivor and the charity enables children and young people living with cancer across the UK to regain their physical fitness, strength and confidence by giving them new bikes, adapted trikes, tandems, other equipment and support.
