THE people of Stratford-upon-Avon now have the choice to vote for the places and pieces they want to see on the town's very own Monopoly board which goes on sale in October.

Having won the regional race to win the Monopoly board town title, people have until midnight 30th April to nominate which landmarks, places or playing pieces should be featured in the Stratford version.

Resident Nick Rowley says on social media that the playing pieces should include Yorick's skull from Hamlet and a small pint mug emblazoned with Flowers, after Flowers Brewery in the town.

Holy Trinity Church, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Shakespeare's Birthplace have all been suggested as landmarks but road names and locations could include Old Town and Tiddington Road.

For those who want to help ‘create’ the Stratford Monopoly board here’s how you can have your say. The polls are now open. To vote with your suggestions either for locations and/or playing pieces visit stratford@winningmoves.co.uk or via the official Stratford-upon-Avon Monopolywww.facebook.com/stratforduponavonmonopoly

Or by traditional post to MONOPOLY STRATFORD-UPON-AVON EDITION, Winning Moves UK, 7 Praed Street, London W2 1NP.
