Stratford District Council acts on modern slavery

The district council has agreed for advisory posters to be displayed in council owned properties alerting the public to the extent of the slavery problem.

The posters are in English and other languages and will be widely displayed in public places with contact details for support and advice for victims.

Cllr Mike Brain, Technical Services portfolio says: “This is not something that you think happens on your doorstep – but it is and the district council is happy to play its part in this campaign.”
