A BRIGHT sea of smiling faces lit up the dark streets of Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday night as the Shakespeare Hospice held its annual Let it Glow moonlight walk.

Around 300 people set off on either a 5km or 10km route through the town, adorned with glow sticks, neon tutus and glow in the dark necklaces.

The event is an important fundraiser for the hospice, bringing in more than £50,000 for the organisation over the past five years.

Around 40 volunteers acted as marshals around the course and organisers hope Saturday’s walk could have raised as much as £14,000.
