Scouts deliver Christmas greetings

THE popular 1st Shottery Scout Group Christmas card post service will run again this year.

Post boxes have been placed at Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose, the Co-op, Clopton Road Stores, Shottery St Andrew’s, Fred Winter, the Shakespeare Hospice bookshop, Evesham Place Stories, Briar Croft and Stratford District Council’s Elizabeth House headquarters.

Cards destined for addresses in Stratford town and Tiddington only can be posted up until Friday, 16th December, ready for sorting the following day.

They will be delivered by Christmas Eve. The cost is £1 for four cards or 30p each, with proceeds going to the Scout group’s funds.

Last year over 1,000 cards were posted.
