School plays host to journey of discovery
A TOP space scientist will be presenting a free public lecture on his best-selling book The Knowledge: How to Rebuild our World from Scratch on Monday, 14th March at 7pm at Chipping Campden School.
Dr Lewis Dartnell’s book is a journey of discovery that explains everything you need to know about everything.
In many respects it’s a quick start guide for re-booting civilisation should it no longer be here.
Dr Dartnell graduated from Oxford University with a First Class degree in Biological Sciences and completed a PhD at University College London in 2007.
He is currently a UK Space Agency research Fellow at the University of Leicester, working in the field of astrobiology and the search for microbial life on Mars.
Alongside his astrobiology research he writes regular science articles in newspapers and magazines and has made a number of TV appearances on shows such BBC’s Horizon, Stargazing Live and Sky at Night.
Entrance is free due to sponsorship from The Ogden Trust and tickets can be obtained from the school reception on 01386 840216.
