Russell Crowe spotted in Stratford
HOLLYWOOD movie star Russell Crowe has just been spotted in Stratford-upon-Avon drinking coffee in Windsor Street. The actor, who has starred in many big box office films, stopped off in the Bard’s hometown to do some sightseeing with his son.
It’s believed Russell Crowe and his son visited Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust in Henley Street where they bought some toy swords from the gift shop. The father and son were spotted having a mock sword fight in a car park opposite HR Café in Windsor Street.
The café’s proprietor David Evans said that Mr Crowe’s driver had popped in for a coffee while the star was at Shakespeare’s Birthplace. Later, David took Russell Crowe and his son two flat white coffees.
Waitress Alice Szyszko, who made the coffees for the Hollywood heart throb, said she was excited but nervous about her A lister customer.
“I was shaking, I was all over the place,” she said.
After 15 minutes Mr Crowe left the car park opposite HR Café in a black Range Rover and is believed to have visited Warwick Castle later on.
Russell Crowe is currently filming The Mummy in Oxfordshire with fellow movie icon, Tom Cruise.
