Results of traffic summit could be months away

RESULTS of a consultation designed to deal with the ongoing traffic gridlock on Birmingham Road, Stratford will not be available to the public for at least a few months.

The news will come as a big disappointment to thousands of commuters who have to battle through traffic on the road on a daily basis.

This week Warwickshire County Council, who launched the consultation back in January, said that feedback and results from the consultation, which closed in March, are “currently being shared among council members and will be available to the public within the next few months.” As yet no specific date has been set.

The consultation was held on Friday 22nd January at Stratford ArtsHouse and was attended by members of the public, senior members from Warwickshire County Council and Stratford District Council and Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi.

It was launched to allow people to have their say on the ongoing traffic gridlock on Birmingham Road and on Stratford related traffic issues generally.
