Restaurant chains sign up for Bell Court

Bell Court is expected to open for business next spring.

EXCITEMENT surrounding Stratford-upon-Avon's £30million Bell Court development is building after two major restaurant chains confirmed they will be opening at the site.

The Miller & Carter Steakhouse and bar chain All Bar One will open at Bell Court early next year, joining burger restaurant Byron and Everyman cinemas in occupying units.

Miller & Carter have signed a 25-year deal for a 5,078sq ft restaurant on the ground floor below the new four-screen Everyman cinema.

The restaurant will cater for up to 200 diners with additional seating outside.

Last month the Herald reported that planning documents had revealed All Bar One were intending to open up a bar/restaurant at Bell Court.

The company has now confirmed their intentions, detailing how they will open a new 4,000sq ft bar/restaurant in the development’s central courtyard.

It will cater for up to 110 people and will be set over two floors.

Edward Peel, Acquisitions Manager at Mitchells & Butlers, the company behind both Miller & Carter and All Bar One, said: “We’d been looking for an opportunity to open some of our most successful brands in Stratford-upon-Avon for a number of years and Bell Court presented the perfect opportunity for us to do this."
