POLICE have seized £57,000 worth of cannabis plants from the loft of a house in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The seizure from a property on Park Road, off Birmingham Road near to the Maybird Centre, was made on Friday, 25th May, in response to intelligence about cannabis from members of the community.
A 38-year-old man has attended a voluntary interview at Stratford-upon-Avon Police Station after his address was found to have 57 adult cannabis plants growing in the loft. The man was not arrested as he voluntarily turned himself into police for an interview.
Police said each plant had an estimated street value of around £1,000 each and they were roughly 14 weeks old.
All plants have now been destroyed and enquires are ongoing.
