Police continue search for missing man

WARWICKSHIRE Police have said today, Monday, that they remain concerned for the welfare of a man who is believed to have jumped into the river in Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday night.

Cameron Whelan, from the Moseley area of Birmingham, has not been seen since.

The 26-year-old is thought to have jumped into the river following a series of incidents around town.

A Warwickshire Police spokesman said: "We're still concerned for the welfare of the man in the photograph. We believe it may be Cameron Whelan, 26, from the Moseley area of Birmingham.

"We ask Cameron or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to call 101 quoting incident 492 of 25th May to let us now he is safe."
