PICTURE GALLERY: Fun run raises £2,000 for new hospital

ABOUT 300 people took part in the Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital 5K Fun Run on Sunday which raised £2,000 towards the hospital appeal. Conditions were extremely hot and one runner, who completed last month’s Shakespeare Marathon, commented that three times around Stratford Racecourse last Sunday was harder than the marathon because of the heat.
