Pavement pops open in Stratford street




A WARWICKSHIRE Fire and Rescue crew have been on the scene of an incident in Sheep Street in Stratford-upon-Avon this lunchtime.

The pavement outside the Wildwood restaurant has been pushed up following a minor explosion underground causing smoke to rise from the ground. Gas and electricity engineers have been called to the scene to investigate. The road remains open with the pavement area in question sealed off.
